Tour Booking – Terms & Conditions

January 1st, 2019 Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd, T/A iPhotograph Magic Tuition and Tours, offers photographic adventures to photographic hotspots, aimed at giving photographers varied and rich subject matter and guidance when requited to take photography to a higher standard and increase your portfolio. 

Here are some details you may be thinking about:

All prices are based on two persons sharing a room.  Single rooms are available, cost varied, depending on the trip you wish to experience.

Prices are in AUS$ unless stated where the price will be US$ and may be paid in full when booking or over a payment plan given at the time of booking.

All accommodations, in hotels or guest houses as per itinerary or similar, two meals per day (breakfast and major meal of day) all entries into cultural experiences, boat rides,  excursions, sightseeing and entrance fees, special access permits, transfers to and from airports.

Meals are based on local food with one course (eg Main meal).  Most Asian countries do offer fruit platters.  African Safaris are all smorgasbord and all meals will be included.

Air flights, extensions, passport costs, visa, immigration fees, 1 meals not indicated, travel insurance (essential), items of a personal nature, such as alcoholic beverages, internet access, and laundry. Tips are expected by Asian and African countries but not essential.   I like to base a tip on your experience at approx. 5 – 10%.

For all programs, airfare is an additional cost unless otherwise indicated. Sample airfares are subject to change.

Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd have arrangements with Bree at Birkdale Flight Centre  07 3401 0000

Bree will endeavour to meet all participants’ needs and attempt to have people on the same flight and stop overs where possible.

To book a place, an advance payment for the adventure of your choice is required at the time of reservation at approx 20%. The per person advance payment amount varies by trip cost and is outlined in our brochures, as well as on our website. Payment is accepted by Pay Pal or Eft by arrangement.

Receipt of your initial payment indicates your acceptance of our complete Terms and Conditions.

We require written notice at the time of reservation for any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention.

Once your reservation is confirmed, please download the Emergency Contact form for important information to help you prepare for your photographic experience.

Each photographic experience will depend on each tour, but a helpful packing list is available on request.

Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure.   Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd will refund your payment up to 90 days prior to departure if we have a waiting list of interested photographers.  Cancellation prior to 6 months will receive a full refund without the necessity of a replacement.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment has not been received by final payment due date.

Please provide the details of your Travel Insurance Plan with overseas contact details.

Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.

For a party of 10 people or more who make their reservations to travel as a couple, each guest will receive $100 off the cost of the expedition when booked together.

Social Compatibility

 To agree to join a group of like minded travellers is an agreement of making every effort to show patience, compassion and kindness to others during the trip.  We take pride in having our group members, return as friends and future returning travellers to iPhotographMagic Tours.  Many of my guests have returned to take tours 3 to 4 times.  For this reason, we understand that everyone has an an occasional off day.  However if repeated signs of lack of consideration to others or unacceptable behaviour occur, after one warning the group member will be asked to return to base at their own expense. 

Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd will employ a tour leader / tour company for each of the specialised photographic adventures to ensure to the best of our ability that each company will offer our members,  the highest standard of care, vehicles and driver experience. Certain conditions not controlled by Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd, may cause in predicted misfortune.  Travel may incur  injury, illness, or death during the photographic experience due to unforseen circumstances.  Vid Pic Pro will take every action to ensure the safely of each member, and we ask all participants to also take full responsibility for their actions and risk level when taking photos as its easy to get distracted and not see possible dangers.

The Customer agrees that they shall not make claim, demand, or take action in any court or judicial or administrative tribunal against Geldard of or incidental to any said loss or damage to goods, loss of life or injury to person whether of a temporary or permanent nature arising from the  provision by Geldard to the Customer of on site / on location training in photography, and the Customer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified Geldard from same.

This Agreement binds the parties and their successors, estate, and assigns.

By registering for a trip, the guest agrees to all such terms and conditions.

Itineraries and prices listed on this website are at times subject to change as our plans are often controlled by local festivals.. However, the published price is determined far in advance of initial departure on the basis of then-existing projections of fuel and other costs. In the event that we determine that current costs create an unsustainable financial model, including but not limited to increases in the price of fuel, currency fluctuations, increases in government taxes or levies, or increased security costs, we reserve the right to pass on these costs to you to cover such unexpected increases. We will always provide a transparent accounting of the reason for increase in costs.

Vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd, may amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amended terms and conditions shall automatically be effective upon being posted by vid Pic Pro Pty Ltd.
